Due to continued expansion, we are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our project engineering team and support ongoing developments in the Data Centre and Industrial Water Treatment sectors.
This is a key technical position offering the opportunity to deepen expertise in mechanical and process design, working on the full lifecycle of engineered systems delivered to high-profile international clients.
The selected candidate will participate in concept development, mechanical design, equipment specifications, and technical coordination throughout manufacturing, FAT, installation and commissioning phases.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and review mechanical engineering documentation ensuring compliance with international standards and internal quality procedures.
- Produce and evaluate P&IDs, process schematics and mechanical flow diagrams aligned with project requirements.
- Size and specify pumps, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipework, valves, filtration systems and mechanical equipment for water treatment applications.
- Prepare detailed equipment data sheets, materials requisitions (MRs) and technical bid tabulations.
- Develop mechanical deliverables including: Pipe routing layouts, piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings (GA), bill of Materials (BOM) and MTOs, support design and structural requirements for skid-based modular systems.
- Ensure that all mechanical designs meet relevant codes (e.g., ASME, EN, PED, ISO, API).
- Validate technical compliance from vendors and participate in design reviews.
- Support HAZOP / HAZID assessments for mechanical and process safety.
- Work closely with the Process, Electrical, Automation and Manufacturing teams to ensure coherent technical integration.
- Provide engineering support during fabrication, assembly, testing (FAT/SAT), installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with suppliers to clarify specifications and resolve technical deviations.
