DEFINITION OF TASKS, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve the annual sales target assigned by territory.
- Maintain and develop relationship with existing clients.
- Market research and establishment of new contacts with potential clients in the assigned territory (including cold calls).
- Listen to the needs of customers and spark interest by presenting them with appropriate custom solutions.
- Create, develop, and close sales opportunities – including opportunity planning.
- Act as a contact between the company and potential and/or existing customers.
- Negotiation of sales contracts with clients; defend the interests of the company.
- Obtain and properly report information about customers and the market.
- Represent the company in fairs, events and/or training courses with clients.
- Implement pricing strategies and strategic programs.
- Forecast income, account activity and generate written reports.
Attend industry forums, trade shows and events as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Academic Formation:
- Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering complemented with Marketing and Sales studies. Optional and valuable: MBA.
Candidates with equivalent experience would also be suitable, provided they have developed an ability and understanding in the technical area.

IT Skills
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications
- General knowledge of process simulations (HYSYS, UniSim, etc.) valued.
Language: Fluent English;
Other languages valued.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of successful demonstrable experience in sales of professional services required (preferably software and related consulting services).
- International Experience in sales
- Marketing and customer service experience also valued.
- The right candidate should have experience managing large accounts/selling at high levels within organisations.
