COMMISSIONING TECHNICIAN-MADRID
DESCRIPTION:
This is a leading water treatment solutions company operating in Scandinavia, the UK, and across Europe. Looking to strengthen their Site team with a Commissioning Engineer (INDUSTRIAL WATER TREATMENT PROJECTs) will deliver a range of schemes to maintain and improve differents places Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works in Europe region.This appointment will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to further develop their technical skills in this role.
REQUIREMENTS:
Good level of English to communicate directly with the client
Full availability for travel and stay for extended periods away from home (Europe).
Degree in Engineering (minimum requirement).
Experience in commissioning water treatment plants in the automotive, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries (desalination, purification, canalization, wastewater)
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
Carry out Commissioning Engineers R&R’s and deliver schemes in a safe compliant manner.
Review and monitoring of Project risks.
Review and monitoring of Services & Other Things to be Provided by the Employer
Attend commissioning systems inductions and tool box talks.
Liaise with Design Coordinator to ensure plant commissioning requirements are incorporated at design stage and included in appropriate scope of works.
Review of design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy and telemetry requirements
Review and development of Compliance & Commissioning Plans in conjunction with design intent
Oversee and sign off FAT and SAT, and process witness tests.
Assist in development of initial Commissioning Programme.
Attend Progress & Commissioning Meetings
Compile commissioning documentation and deliverables.
Provide input into Commissioning Strategy Reviews and Documentation.
Liaise with sub-contractors regards commissioning deliverables and interfaces.
Assist Training Coordinators in compilation of training deliverables and engage in SW Training sessions.
Assist O&M Coordinators in compilation and review of O&M Manuals.
Distribute Commissioning Log / Daily Diary’s and any other information from Engineers.
Assist in the preparation of take over reports
Liaise with complete scheme delivery team.—
This is a permanent position, based in Madrid.
