Job Description:

Engineers Sourcing is currently sourcing a Project Manager in the complete management of solar assets for the generation of electricity


Principal Accountabilities: –

  • Pre-constructionbeforetonoticetoproceed:
  • Provide inputs to scope of works, project delivery methodology and design;
  • Provide technical advice and inputs to the development team;
  • Support in the preparation and management of RFP processes;
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of EPC contract;
  • Assist in the financial close;
  • Preparation of construction management plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • ProjectManagement:
  • Management of the Project’s team;
  • Schedule, cost and quality compliance management;
  • Manage the contracts related to the Project;
  • Ensure the contractor’s progress, HSEQ management, design and any other are aligned with the Contract;
  • Manage the RFI / NCR processes;
  • Manage the interconnection process;
  • Monitoring commissioning and PAC testing phase;
  • Liaising with landowners, community, other stakeholders;
  • Manage EPC and internal budget;
  • Manage punch list and its resolution;
  • Provide internal and external reporting;
  • Manage regulatory cce for the Project.
  • Postconstruction (postpracticalcompletion):
  • Punch list closing;
  • Provide lesson learned;
  • Formally close all the contracts;
  • Manage an effective handover.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Engineering graduate;
  • Minimum 7 years of experience, managing utility scale solar project >50MW;
  • Project/Contract management qualifications and international experience will be considered a plus;
  • Essential are fluent Spanish and English written and spoken.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills;
  • Recent experience in delivering utility scale PV projects;
  • Knowledge of project finance processes;
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of and competency in project management including resource allocation, risk management, time management, quality management, monitoring and reporting
