The position is based in Madrid, but it requires travel to our project sites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements for the position include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Degree<\/strong>: A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Proven experience<\/strong>\u00a0of at least 5 years in subcontract management within the Oil &amp; Gas industry.<\/li>\n<li><strong>High level of English.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Knowledge of contracts<\/strong>, regulations, policies, and laws related to construction processes and projects.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Previous experience<\/strong>\u00a0leading teams in EPC projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Main responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting on subcontract cost overruns and delays (complaints, change orders, required variations, and cost increases).<\/li>\n<li>Constantly seeking ways to minimize subcontract costs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that the terms set out in the subcontracts are properly adhered to.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing and monitoring any actions related to subcontractors.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all correspondence with subcontractors is up to date.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that information handled with subcontractors is kept strictly confidential.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously improving subcontract management methods to minimize risks and costs.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting statistical tracking, cost analysis, and productivity analysis for each subcontract.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing monthly subcontract reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Although these duties are for a <strong>Subcontracts Manager<\/strong>, the goal is for this person to be in charge of the entire department.
