Job Description<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Enhance intra-day systems, processes and controls to support Business Protection in SLB Markets MO, reducing risk to the business.<\/strong><\/p>\n Daily tasks will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Historically, all controls related to Markets Middle Office are detective after the event. This has resulted in errors being detected too late to avoid a loss being identified or a regulatory breach being identified.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Markets MO would like to update processes to introduce\u00a0better\u00a0<\/strong>preventive controls, that can be run\u00a0earlier\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0more often\u00a0<\/strong>reducing the risk or loss or regulatory censure.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A number of processes have been identified that can benefit from philosophy on best practise controls and which the following actions are required:<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Update process \/ TOM\u2019s with additional controls included<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Identify opportunities to run controls in automated fashion to reduce Operational risk<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Identify were manual processes are being run to support system limitations creating Financial and Non Financial Risk<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develop Business Requirements to close system defects<\/p>\n \u00a0Core Requirements \/ Skills:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A good understanding of Derivatives especially interest rate derivatives<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Experience with analysis and reconciliations as well as problem solving capabilities<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Good level Excel<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Knowledge of Murex and MarkitWire would be beneficial<\/p>\n \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Good communication skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
