Description<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Support Stress Lead in the requirements definition, architecture development and specifications definition for air vehicle primary structure, system structures and mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li>Perform static strength, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis of the vehicle that results in the definition of updates to the vehicle wings, fuselage, empennage and subsystems.<\/li>\n<li>Stress support for the integration of structures and mechanisms with all other subsystems and components of the vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of the operations, maintenance and logistics philosophies for the system.<\/li>\n<li>Participates as a member of the technical team in the establishment of development processes for the vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the appropriate departments to develop and maintain a development plan that supports organizational needs.<\/li>\n<li>Assess and communicate risks associated with technologies used in the design and development of the structures and mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure development adheres to applicable standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering or Related Field with 10 years of applicable experience.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive history with structural design and analysis of composite aircraft.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structures optimization, loads calculations.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience and understanding of composite structure design and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with MCS Nastran and Catia v5.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with hand calculations and closed form solutions using commercially available documentation (Bruhn, Niu etc).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform analysis with minimal analytical tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to document analysis in a clear and logical manner to satisfy airworthiness authorities.<\/li>\n<li>History of performing aircraft modifications approved by airworthiness authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in allowable development and justification.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of major industry and regulatory standards and design criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s Degree in Engineering or Related Field and 15 years of applicable experience.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Part 23 certification requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and ability to execute stress analysis tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Preferred
