Process Engineer (Water Treatment Plants)-Madrid<\/h1>\n

An international company specialized in comprehensive water treatment and management
solutions, with projects across Europe and other markets, is looking to hire a Process
Engineer to join its Plant Design team. This is a permanent position, offering career
development opportunities and participation in reference projects at the European level.<\/h3>\n


Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n


\u2022 Design, develop, and optimize processes for water treatment plants (drinking water,
desalination, wastewater, and industrial processes).
\u2022 Prepare material and energy balances, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and
Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), and technical specifications.
\u2022 Select the most suitable technologies, equipment, and treatment systems for each project
(pumps, membranes, reactors, valves, instrumentation, etc.).
\u2022 Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical Engineering departments to ensure
multidisciplinary integration.
\u2022 Define operating parameters and design criteria based on international standards and
engineering best practices.
\u2022 Support the preparation of technical offers and related documentation for international
tenders.
\u2022 Perform process simulations using specialized software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD
Plant, Epanet).
\u2022 Provide technical support during the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning
phases of facilities.
\u2022 Collaborate in technical audits and continuous improvement of design methodologies and
standards.
\u2022 Participate in European travel for technical meetings, site visits, or client support (with
flexibility in the percentage of time spent abroad).<\/h3>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n


\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Chemical Engineering (specialization in processes or plant
design).
\u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in process design for water treatment plants or other
related industrial sectors.
\u2022 Advanced knowledge of process design software (Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD Plant, Epanet,
or equivalent).
\u2022 High level of English (C1 or equivalent), essential for international communication.
\u2022 Availability to travel within Europe with flexible dedication.
\u2022 Profiles at different levels of experience will be considered: Junior, Mid-level, and Senior.<\/h3>\n
