Process Simulation and Optimization are used in the process industry on a daily basis but are rarely exploited to their full potential. Inprocess’ offer is focusing on several types of simulation-based services for the hydrocarbon and chemical process industries:
- Process Modelling Projects and Studies (compressor systems, flare systems, etc.)
- OTS: Operator Training Simulators (emulated and direct-connect) and Lifecycle Simulation
- Model-Based Applications Development
- Flow Assurance Studies with OLGA
- Training Courses about Process Simulation and Process Technology
- Educational Programs for Plant Operators
- Inprocess Applications (e.g.: ITOP, IIS, INGENO, ICOM, ILIB, IFLOW and Software Extensions for commercial process simulators) EDUCATION & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
- University Degree in: Chemical/Electrical/Electronic/ Industrial/IT/ Telecommunication or Control and Automation.
- Understand chemical process simulation, particularly dynamic simulation, by drawing on your skills in mathematics, thermodynamics, chemistry, chemical engineering and programming
- Apply process engineering principles to data reduction and model development
- More than 3 years of experience in implementation and codification of distributed control system (DCS) in industrial processes (Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemistry)
- Knowledge of one or more following distributed control system ( Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell PKS C200/C300, Yokogawa Centum VP, ABB800xA AC800M
- Knowledge of HYSYS, Dynamics, Unisim, Dynsim.
- Experience or knowledge of software development tools and of open-source-based software in different programming languages as Python, C#, etc.
- High level of English, spoken and written ABOUT THE ROLE
- You will be part of OTS (Operator training System) team, integrating the control system emulators with the dynamic process simulator
- With the help of the process simulator, you will improve the operating procedures of the plant and optimize the process control philosophy.
- With the help of the process simulator, audit the configuration of the distributed control systems prior to commissioning and start-up of the plant.
- Assist in run performance, results discussion and reporting
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of working time within Europe/Asia/Emirates
